Who We Are

Our firm was founded with the goal of assisting our clients in every aspect of their the financial lives. We work closely with each client to help them achieve their goals.

Our staff consists of experienced professionals with a "hands on" approach to financial advice. Not only will you find our team members knowledgable, but you will also discover that our staff truly cares about making your dreams a reality.

Our staff consists of three professionals and two clerical employees.  All staff members have operational experience in day-to-day operations of nonprofit and governmental organizations, and in auditing federal, state and local governmental programs. We recognize and understand the nature of your operations, the overall economic environment in which you function, and the important public service you provide.  Our approach to each engagement is designed to meet your specific needs in the most efficient and economical manner.

Leadership

John F. Lewis, CPA, President
Mr. Lewis is a graduate of Murray State University, Murray, Kentucky, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting in 1981. He has been licensed as a Certified Public Accountant since 1986 and has been in public practice in the Central Texas area for the past twenty years. Mr. Lewis has served as Tax and Accounting Senior and Office Manager in public accounting. He is a specialist in the area of audit and taxation for nonprofit organizations and government entities as well as individuals, corporations, partnerships and estates. He has been involved on audits of nonprofit entities for the last eighteen years.

Drew Petersen, Audit Manager
Mr. Petersen is a graduate of Loyola University of Chicago, where he received a Bachelor of Business Administration with a major in Accounting in 1999.  He served as an accounting/budgets intern for a medical center, working on the check of control accounts and their balances.  Mr. Petersen also served as bookkeeper/controller for a profitable business, responsible for the upkeep of their accounts payable and accounts receivable.  Mr. Petersen was a member of the Loyola University Men’s Varsity Basketball team and was nominated to the McDonald’s High School All-American Team based on outstanding leadership and ability both on the basketball court and in the community.  He was also a two-year member of the Accounting Club and is currently a CPA candidate.

Rhonda Lancaster, CPA, Tax Manager
Ms. Lancaster is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, where she received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a major in Accounting in 1987.  After graduating with highest honors, Ms. Lancaster worked for Ernst & Young in the Audit Department for two years.  She then held various positions with large corporations for ten years with responsibilities in tax, general accounting, and financial planning.  Ms. Lancaster has been with the firm since 2005.
